The FCAC sponsored the visit of published poet, Michael Chitwood, to Franklin County's 3 public high schools. Mr. Chitwood judged a poetry competition between the 11th graders in the schools, as well as spoke with students about poetry. Mr. Chitwood discussed poetry as an art, being a published poet, poetry in N.C. and answered the students' questions.
