Artist of the year!
Freddy Greene (The Street Genie) was unanimously voted as Franklin County Artist of the year, by the Board of the Arts Council.
However, Freddy was not made aware of his nomination immediately. Instead the Arts Council decided to invite Freddy to come and perform at their Annual General Meeting (AGM). During his performance he was interrupted, and very surprised to be presented with this long overdue award.
The Arts Council Board will now work to promote Freddy and his music, during his time as Artist of the Year....Nice one, Freddy!
