Regional Artist Project Grant Program
(Grants Available for Area Artists)
United Arts Council of Raleigh & Wake County awards grants to artists from Franklin, Johnston, Vance, Warren, and Wake Counties. Artists can apply for grants up to $1500 to support projects that will further their professional and artistic development.
Previously funded projects have included attendance at professional development workshops and conferences, purchase of equipment to aid in the production of artwork, production of new works, and production of promotional materials, such as a portfolio or demo tape
To be eligible, an artist must be 18 or older, have lived in the five county region for at least one year and not be currently enrolled in a degree program. Additional requirements and stipulations are explained in the application guidelines. Artists who received a Regional Artist Project Grant in the last two years are not eligible. Funded projects must occur between January 1 and December 31, 2008
