Welcome to the Committees and Guilds page. Committees and Guilds are our link to the many community focused people and groups within Franklin County.

Committees are established to provide a standing forum for key areas of business, outreach and arts development.

For centuries, guilds have been a way for craftsmen and women to come together to share their techniques and improve their craft. Although guilds are not as commonplace now as they once were, the practice of forming guilds still holds great value today.
To that end, the Franklin County Arts Council has renewed this old concept and encourages all those with an interest in art, culture and history to become a part of a guild, or create one of their own.
Our Guilds are established by individuals or groups that want to promote a particular art. If you would like to join a Guild please contact that particular Guild. However, should you want to create a Guild not already established here, please contact us.
